With two games left before the regular season, head coach Alain Vigneault pretty much knows his lineup already. A lineup that got a dry-run on Saturday night.

“I think we’ve been spending a lot of time together, trying to get the chemistry,” Ivan Provorov said. “I think it’s been working so far.”

Tonight, with the game not on TV & in Bridgeport CT, the home of the New York Islanders farm team, it has the feeling of an AHL game. Which bodes well with the lineup the Flyers are sending.

However, while it may not be for a spot on the opening night lineup, these younger players will get the chance to make an impact one last time. An impact that could lead to a call-up down the road.

Martin Jones will make the start in his last tune-up before the regular season.
