With back-to-back wins on back-to-back nights, the Flyers look for the sweep of their mini-Western Canada trip tonight. Something that would not have been possible if it was for their goal-tending.
“When we needed a save, we got a save,” head coach Alain Vigneault said.
To start the season, the Flyers goalie rotation is what it was expected to be. Two-three starts for Carter Hart, one for Martin Jones. So far, so good for the Flyers as they head into Calgary with a 4-1-1 record.
Carter Hart earned the win in his hometown of Edmonton on Wednesday. On Thursday, Martin Jones earned the win in his hometown of Vancouver on Thursday.
With the homecomings victorious for both Hart & Jones, the Flyers now look to return home on the right note.
