As the Philadelphia Flyers head into a new era, they will have a new leader at the top.
On Monday, Comcast Spectacor announced the Flyers CEO & Governor Dave Scott will be retiring from the company.
Scott, who joined Spectacor in 2013, was in his 30th year of service for for Comcast.
In April, Comcast Spectacor announced the hiring of Dan Hilferty as CEO. Succeeding Scott as the Flyers Chairman.
Since the hiring of Hilferty, rumors and speculation started to the future of Dave Scott.
Today, those rumors and speculation became official.
Hilferty will take over Dave Scott’s other role, Flyers Governor, July 1st.
