The one thing the Flyers learned in Tuesday’s loss to the Penguins is accountability. Something that Shayne Gostisbehere did not shy away from after Tuesday’s loss.
“Maybe if I didn’t pass them the puck when they scored and tied the game, that would have helped, too,” defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere said.
After a humbling experience, the response is normally motivation. Something the Flyers as a whole should use because of their total lack-luster team effort.
After winning 14 of the first 20 games they played at PPG Paints Arena, the Flyers have now lost 3-straight in Pittsburgh. Tonight, the Flyers look to avenge their 5-2 Tuesday loss vs the Penguins.
“At the end of the day, this is a team game and a team effort,” head coach Alain Vigneault said. “We lost tonight as a team and we’re going to find a way to rebound here and get ready for the next game.”
