With four more players returning from the covid list, the Flyers are the healthiest they have been in weeks. Something that couldn’t have come at a better time with the Flyers starting a 6-game in 9-day stretch.
During this stretch, the Flyers depth will be put to the test. A test that will rely on all four line contributing. Especially from the Flyers middle six.
“I’m feeling good & having fun being back,” forward Nolan Patrick said. “Took me a while to find my game, but the last few games I’ve been trending in the right direction.”
Nolan Patrick, who was moved to right-wing, is playing alongside Claude Giroux & Kevin Hayes. A line that Alain Vigneault hopes will get Patrick going.
Claude Giroux provided a much needed spark in Thursday’s win over the Rangers. Today, the Flyers hope Jake Voracek, Oskar Lindblom, & Scott Laughton provide the same energy.
“Think G (Claude Giroux) set the tone by the way he played & came out,” head coach Alain Vigneault said. “Expect those guys to come in & help us win games. Especially with our lovely schedule ahead of us.”
