The one thing the Flyers look to build on is their energy. An energy that started with the return of captain Claude Giroux on Wednesday & continued yesterday with the return of the “covid line”.
In their return, the line of Oskar Lindblom – Scott Laughton – Jake Voracek, the “covid line” as head coach Alain Vigneault named them, provided the jump & energy captain Claude Giroux started in his return on Wednesday. Something they hope continues today. But, know they can be better.
“It was a solid game for us,” forward Oskar Lindblom said. “Now we just have to relax and come back and be better than that tomorrow.”
Today, the Flyers look again to play their game & continue to get better as they look for their third straight win.
“You could just feel the energy in the room,” goalie Brian Elliott said. “Everybody’s kind of raring to go. It feels like training camp all over again. It’s almost like a fresh start.”
