The first thing the Flyers must overcome tonight is the possibility of a let down. After rebounding & playing better 5v5 hockey on Tuesday, the Flyers still have work to do.
Head coach Alain Vigneault said Tuesday was one of their best games so far this season. But, the decision making on some puck possessions & transitions still needs to be better.
With Shayne Gostisbehere back in the lineup, the Flyers transition & ability to move the puck was much better. Something that Vigneault said was one of the reasons why Gostisbehere played 21:57 in his return.
The Flyers broke their two-game losing streak on Tuesday. Tonight, the Flyers look to make it two straight wins vs New Jersey & four straight vs the Devils at the Prudential Center.
“I feel like we took a step forward from the last two games tonight,” Claude Giroux said after their 5-3 win on Tuesday.
