The Flyers head on the road to Boston to start a back-to-back to continue the their preseason.
Head coach John Tortorella was supposed to take the reins starting today in Boston. However, Tortorella will watch one more game from the press box before taking over tomorrow against the New York Islanders.
Tonights lineup will feature many of the Flyers who have a leg up on an opening night roster spot per Tortorella. But, for guys like Hayden Hodgson & Zack MacEwen, they are getting one last chance to move into that group.
The biggest battle tonight will be between Jackson Cates & Tanner Laczynski. The two are fighting it out for the 4th line center position on the opening night roster.
Felix Sandstrom & Troy Grosenick are expected to split the game in net. Sandstrom is expected to start the game with Grosenick coming in the 3rd period.
