The Philadelphia Flyers won their fifth straight game Thursday night at the Wells Fargo Center.

Samuel Ersson made 14 saves in the Flyers 5-1 win over the Dallas Stars.
Sean Walker gave the Flyers a 1-0 lead late in the 1st period. Walker’s 5th of the season came off a wicked back-hand pass by Morgan Frost along the boards.
Frost’s 10th assist of the season extended his point streak to three games.
Philadelphia (25-14-6) have points, 6-1-1, in seven of their last eight games.

Sean Couturier and Jamie Drysdale returned to the Flyers lineup after missing the last two games.
Couturier assisted on Owen Tippett’s 17th goal of the season. It was his 20th assist of the season and 300th for his NHL career.
Tippett’s second of the night was another highlight reel goal. Going backhand, top shelf while skating around a Stars defender.
Tippett now has goals in five of his last six games.
Cam Atkinson scored his 11th goal of the season. It was his third goal in last three games.

The Stars were held shot-less for a 25:45 span to begin the game. After firing the first shot on net 29 seconds into the game, the next Stars shot would not come til 13:46 of 2nd period.
During that span, the Flyers outshot the Stars 22-0 and scored twice.
