Flyers Acquire Ryan Ellis From Nashville

Just before the NHL trade freeze on Saturday, the Philadelphia Flyers made a trade. Acquiring Nashville Predators defenseman Ryan Ellis.

GM Chuck Fletcher’s number one target this offseason was a top pair right-handed defenseman to pair with Ivan Provorov. With the acquisition of Ellis, Fletcher has found Provorov a long-term partner.
