If the Philadelphia Flyers of last year got down in a game, there was never much hope of coming back. With this year’s Philadelphia Flyers, there is no game they are not out of.

Over the past three games, the Flyers have found themselves down in all three of them. But, when the final whistle blows, all three games have resulted with points.

While the first game did not win in the win, the last two have.

After coming back in the 3rd period on Saturday to win in a shootout, the Flyers found themselves down once again tonight to the Penguins.

The result? The same as on Saturday, a win.

Tyson Foerster would tie the game in the 2nd period. Foerster’s 5th goal in his last 9 games.

In overtime, Sean Couturier would win it for the Flyers. His 6th goal of the season.

Travis Konecny assisted on both Flyers goals. His 6th and 7th assists of the season.

Carter Hart stopped 30 of the 31 Penguins shots fired his way to earn his 7th win of the season.

Tyson Foerster Stays Red Hot

The one thing that was missing from Tyson Foerster’s game to start the season was the one thing he is expected to do at the NHL. That one thing is score.

Thru his first 15 games, Foerster had just three points. All three points were assists.

In need of anything to change the mojo, Foerster decided to change his gloves. A move that resulted Foerster’s first goal of the season.

With another goal tonight, Foerster has 5 goals and 2 assists in his last 9 games.

Flyers Continue Domination Of Penguins In Philadelphia

The Battle of Pennsylvania is a staple on both the Flyers and Penguins schedules each season.

One thing sets aside the two in the matchup is the Flyers domination on home ice.

With their 2-1 win tonight, the Flyers improved to 104-37-12 on home ice against the Penguins.
