The one thing the Flyers look to build on is their effort. After playing for 60-minutes for the first time this season, the Flyers now look to continue to improve their overall game.
“I really believe our guys have been battling hard,” head coach Alain Vigneault said. “We worked extremely hard; We needed this win. I thought we deserved it.”
After failing to build off games so far this season, the Flyers need to take it one shift at a time. Build off their good & quickly look past the bad.
The Flyers can’t look too far past the Sabres who have lost 17-straight games. Tonight, look to make four-straight wins & extend their 167:58 shutout streak in Buffalo.
“Think our sticks were really good. We were blocking lanes and just that good positioning,” goalie Brian Elliott said. “We worked on it in practice. Think just putting those things together, guys coming back hard for each other, it makes it hard to make plays out there on the other team.”
