The one thing the Flyers needed was rest. Something that was hard to come by over the past few weeks. After their three-day break, the Flyers looked energized.
However, in what has become their staple this season, had to rely on their goal-tending once again. Something that jumpstarted the Flyers in their comeback win last night.
“When a goaltender does that for you, it brings a tremendous amount of confidence to the rest of the team,” head coach Alain Vigneault said.
In their last 8-games after wins, the Flyers are 1-7-0. Tonight, look for their first back to back wins since March 27 & 29.
“We’re going to find out a lot about our guys in these last games; as far as them being true professionals,” head coach Alain Vigneault said.
