After a 2-1-1 home-stand to start the season, the Flyers head west for an early season road test. A test that starts tonight against Connor McDavid and the undefeated Oilers.
Tonight marks the first time the Flyers will play in a Canadian city since the bubble for the 2020-playoffs.
Tasked with stopping one of the NHLs best players is Carter Hart. Who is returning home to Edmonton, the place Hart calls home.
“Being able to play in Canadian cities, hearing the Canadian anthem, it makes you feel like home,” Travis Sanheim said.
The western Canada swing is always a test for the Flyers. But, this season, its an early season test they are welcoming.
