The Philadelphia Flyers make the quick trip up to Boston tonight to take on the Bruins. It’s the annual family trip for the Flyers. This year, the Mom’s make the trip.
In need of a much needed win and turning point in the season, the Flyers hope their most important person in their life helps with just that. The Flyers Mom’s hope to bring the same luck the Dad’s brought last year. But, maybe one point better than the three of four points the Dad’s got last year.
The one clear message from the Flyers locker room on Sunday was their play has been disconnected. Something that has been very evident with the lack luster 2-6-1 start to their season. But, it has gotten much better over the past few games.
Tonight, against a struggling Bruins team, the Flyers hope their 5v5 play continues to take a step in the right direction.
Samuel Ersson will make his 6th start of the season. On the season, Ersson is 2-2-1 with 3.56 GAA & .872%.
