The Flyers return home to face the Washington Capitals to continue their preseason.
This will be the last game GM Chuck Fletcher sets the lineup. Head coach John Tortorella will take the reins starting on Saturday in Boston.
Tonights lineup will feature the debut of the Flyers new top-4 on defense. As well as, a look at a potential opening night 4th line with Nick Deslauriers, Tanner Laczynski, & Hayden Hodgson.
Kevin Hayes and Scott Laughton will make their preseason debuts. Hayes will be with Owen Tippett & Tyson Foerster. Laughton will be with Olle Lycksell & Wade Allison.
Felix Sandstrom & Samuel Ersson are expected to split the game in net. Sandstrom is expected to start the game with Ersson coming in the 3rd period.
