With rookie camp in the rearview mirror, it’s now time for the big boys to hit the ice for training camp. The Philadelphia Flyers will hit the ice on Thursday to start training camp.
The Flyers will take the ice at the Flyers Training Center on Thursday to get their 2022-2023 season in motion. 71 players will take part in camp. Including Joel Farabee, who is ahead of schedule in his recovery from offseason neck surgery.
Training camp will take place on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. A full list of players can be found here.
On Saturday, the Flyers will have a morning skate before opening their preseason on Saturday night at the Wells Fargo Center vs the Boston Bruins.
The Flyers will be split into four groups, Group A, B, C, D. All four groups will be on the ice both days.
On Thursday, all groups will be on the ice each for 45-minutes starting with Group D at 8:30 am. On Friday, Group A & D will be first on the ice. The two groups will scrimmage first before splitting for individuals sessions. Then, Group B & C will follow in the afternoon the same schedule.
