PHILADELPHIA: The Philadelphia Flyers three game win streak came to a crashing end Monday night against their cross state rival Pittsburgh Penguins.

The Penguins scored three power-plays goals in a 5-1 route of the Flyers at Xfinity Mobile Arena.

The man advantage played a key role in deciding this one. Pittsburgh went three for four on the night, while the Flyers went just one for six. Two of those six opportunities had at least a minute of 5-on-3.

Tyson scored the lone Flyers goal on the power-play in the second period.

His team leading 10th goal of the season was intended for a Matvei Michkov slam dunk on the back post. Before it could get to Michkov, it deflected off a Penguin in-front.

Foerster would leave the game mid-way through the second period after going down in pain after taking a slap shot. As he made his way off the ice, his right arm was lame and motionless.

In the offseason, Foerster had an infection in his right elbow that effected his training. He did not return to the game.

If he has to miss time, a name to keep an eye on is Alex Bump. The Flyers have been trying to find a way over the past few weeks to get Bump a look in the Top 9 at the NHL level.

Dan Vladar did not have the best of nights in goal and was struggling with his rebound control for the first time this season. In the loss, he made 22 saves.

The Flyers return to action on Wednesday night when they host the Buffalo Sabres at 7:00pm.
