The one thing the Flyers need to do better is playing their game & not to the talent of the team they are playing. Which, on Monday, the Flyers got a taste of until the 3rd period.
“We battled hard. It was a tough game,” forward Sean Couturier said. “We’re happy to get two points but we’re not quite satisfied with how we played.”
After falling behind 3-0, Alain Vigneault relied heavily on his veterans in a must win situation. Something that hopefully will be the spark & wake-up call needed for this team.
The Flyers looked the Sabres on Monday. Tonight, look to build off their 3rd period comeback & make five-straight wins in Buffalo.
“We’re down by three, we needed this game,” head coach Alain Vigneault said. “Decided to shorten up the bench and went with what I thought was our best nine forwards at that time; The guys found a way to get it done.”
