The Philadelphia Flyers ended a two game losing streak Monday night at the Wells Fargo Center. Beat the New Jersey Devils 4-2.

The Flyers scored just two goals in their last two games.
Tonight, it took them just 28 seconds to score twice in the 1st period.
Bobby Brink and Joel Farabee started the scoring for the Flyers just over the halfway point of the opening period. Giving them a 2-0 lead after the 1st period.
Brink’s 7th goal of the season came just 6 seconds into the power-play. His point shot redirected off the back side of a Devils player in front and past Jake Allen.
Farabee’s 8th goal of the season came just 28 seconds later. Sliding a flubbed shot thru the five point of Allen on the rebound from Scott Laughton’s shot from the right dot.
Travis Konecny assist on Brink’s goal extended his point streak to three games.

Rasmus Ristolainen got career point #299 on Brink’s goal.
In the 2nd period, Ristolainen would get point #300 on Garnet Hathaway’s goal.
Hathaway’s 7th goal of the season was his fourth in his last 8 games.
The play was started by Ristolainen. Sliding a cross ice pass point to point to Cam York whose shot was redirected home by Hathaway in-front.
For his career, Ristolainen has 54 goals and 246 assists.
Cam York’s assist was his first point in his last five games.

Samuel Ersson rebounded in a big way after giving up 5 goals to the Rangers on Thursday.
He made 29 saves in the 4-2 win. His 15th win of the season was his 8th in his last 10 starts.
Sean Couturier missed the game due to illness. Scott Laughton returned to the lineup after missing the last three games due to personal reasons.
The Flyers improve to 23-22-6 on the season.
Next up, a rematch against the Devils at Prudential Center on Wednesday at 7:00pm.
