34 seconds… the time it took the Flyers to retake the lead late in the 2nd period.

Answering back has been something the Flyers have had a hard time doing all season. It has actually been something that has happened to them more often then themselves doing it.

Since John Tortorella was fired, for the third straight game, the Flyers have responded to opposing goals. Something that has propelled them to three straight victories.

Jamie Drysdale’s 7th goal of the season gave the Flyers a 2-1 lead with 6:12 left in the 2nd period.

It was his 4th point in his last 5 games.

The goal was setup by Travis Konecny and Matvei Michkov. Both their second points of the night.

Konecny and Michkov also set up the Flyers opening goal.

Ryan Poehling’s 11th goal of the season gave the Flyers a 1-0 lead just before the mid-way point of the 2nd period.

It was his 7th goal in his last 10 games.

Poehling finished off a tremendous passing sequence by Konecny and Michkov on the rush. Finishing off the play with needing just a tap-in for the goal.

For the second straight game, Konecny and Michkov have both had multi-point games. It was the third straight for Michkov, who has four in his last five games.

The two have combined for 6 goals and 13 assists since being reunited 6 games ago.

“I think they realize that they’re a little bit on the same wavelength,” Brad Shaw said postgame on the two.
