Christian Dvorak opened the scoring just 69 seconds into the game on an incredible one touch pass by Nikita Grebenkin.
His third goal of the season was started by Travis Konecny winning a puck battle along the boards on the forecheck. It was Konecny’s third point in his last three games.
For the reminder 58:51 of play, the Flyers offense went stagnate.
Toronto would then score four unanswered goals. It started with Auston Matthews’s sixth goal of the season which came right after Tyson Foerster blocked his first attempt and went down in pain.
Foerster left the ice after the goal and went up the tunnel. He did return after getting checked out and finished the game.
Dan Vladar was pulled from the game 33 seconds into the third period after giving up his fourth goal of the night.
It was his first loss on home ice this season. He finished the night with 15 saves on 19 shot attempts.

In his first eight games at Xfinity Mobile Arena, Zegras has four goals and eight assists.
Midway through the third period a scary scene happened at the Toronto blue-line. Matvei Michkov collided with Chris Tanev as the two were moving in the opposite direction.
Tanev stayed down on the ice and shortly after the trainer called for the stretcher. He was taken off on a backboard, but did give a thumbs up as he exited the ice.
Michkov was assessed a two minute penalty for interference on the play.
Aleksei Kolosov made his season debut in relief for Vladar in the third period. He stopped all seven shots he faced.
The Flyers return to action tomorrow night at the Xfinity Mobile Arena when they host the Calgary Flames at 7:00pm.
