As if the Flyers didn’t need another clunker after Friday’s game against the New York Rangers, their woes came back tonight against another power in the Metro.

“Flat, just flat throughout the lineup,” John Tortorella mentioned postgame about the teams effort.

Adding “we haven’t had many of these. We got a plan for practice tomorrow and be ready for next game on Thursday.”

While it’s hard to fault Tortorella for having a quick reset after tonights game, this is the second time its happened in the past three games.

To add to the play, the Flyers offense has just two goals in their last three games.

When the Flyers are executing the plan set for by Tortorella, their game play looks a lot different.

However, on nights when they struggle, like they did again tonight, it is going to show. Especially against one of the Metro’s best.
