The Philadelphia Flyers lost their second straight game Saturday afternoon in Boston. Losing to the Bruins 4-3 in overtime.

John Tortorella did not hold back in his post game remarks on the officiating. Making his displeasure well known on how the game was officiated.
“We’re going to play an honest game. There’s no cheating. There’s no embarrassing referees,” Tortorella said postgame. “The shit that went on here tonight is just ridiculous.”
In the 3rd period alone, the Bruins had four power-plays. A couple, of which, were on very questionable calls.
Before a question was even asked, Tortorella made this statement…
“One thing I teach my team to do is not dive. Maybe I should start teaching them that. The way this has gone here, the way this shit goes on, maybe I should start teaching them how to dive.”

Matvei Michkov is going to break a lot of Flyers and NHL rookie records and set a lot of milestones this season.
It took him just one period against the Bruins on Saturday to set another milestone. Becoming just the 3rd Flyers teenager to record three straight multi-point games.
His 10th and 11th goals of the season gave the Flyers a 2-0 lead in the 1st period in Boston.
In his last 3 games, Michkov has 3 goals and 4 assists.
Sean Couturier tied Gary Dornhoefer for 12th all time for assists in Flyers history with 9th assist of the season on Michkov’s first goal.

Travis Sanheim recorded his 200th career point in the NHL. Finishing the afternoon with two assists.
His 199th point came on a wicked pass to Michkov at the back post for his second goal of the game.
Point #200 came off a pass to Cam York from behind the net.
Cam York ended a 9 game goal-less drought on Sanheim’s 200th point. It was York’s first point in 8 games and first point since returning from injury.
Aleksei Kolosov made 27-saves in losing effort. But, made 10 saves, some highlight reel ones, in the 3rd period to get the Flyers to overtime.

The Bruins comeback started in the 3rd period on Travis Frederic’s second goal of the goal. Pavel Zacha completed the comeback in overtime to give the Bruins a 4-3 win.
The Flyers power-play scored for the second straight game. While the penalty kill responded, killing off five of six man-advantages, after giving up four goals to the Panthers on Thursday.
In the 3rd period, the Flyers killed off all three Bruins man-advantages. Two of the three penalties left John Tortorella livid on the Flyers bench wondering how they were even called.
The Flyers fall to 12-11-4 on the season. Next up, the Utah Hockey Club tomorrow night at the Wells Fargo Center at 7:30pm.
