Matvei Michkov scored 28 seconds into overtime, sealing the Flyers 3-2 victory over the Blues.

Travis Konecny once again set-up Michkov in overtime. This time, sending him on a break-away, and beating Jordan Binnington with a forehand-backhand move that bounced in off the post.

His third overtime goal of the season tied Sidney Crosby, Rick Nash, and Ilya Kovalchuk for most goals by a teenager in overtime.

It was his second point of the game and his sixth multi-point game of the season.

Travis Konecny extended his point streak to five games with his assist.

In his last five games, Konecny has 2 goals and 5 assists.

Owen Tippett ended a five game goal-less drought in the 1st period.

His 5th goal of the season is probably the easiest he will score all season. Tipping home a cross-ice pass by Matvei Michkov on the rush.

Michkov waited patiently, with a Blues defender draped on his back, until the passing lane opened. Sliding a pass along the ice right to the tape of Tippett’s stick.

St. Louis tied the game just over the halfway point of the 3rd period. 69-seconds later, the Flyers regained the lead.

Tyson Foerster rammed home the rebound after Bobby Brink nearly scored in tight off a turnover.

His 5th goal of the season ended a five game goal-less drought and was his second point in as many games.

In his last eight games, Foerster has 3 goals and 2 assists.

He skated 14:39 and was a -1 in his return.

Aleksei Kolosov made 25 saves in the win. It was his third straight win, all three of which have been overtime wins.

The Flyers improve to 12-10-3 on the season. Next up, the Florida Panthers Thursday night at the Wells Fargo Center at 7:00pm.
