The Flyers missed the playoffs for the 5th time in the last 9-seasons last season. A season that started with high hopes, but led to some major offseason changes.
“Chuck has made some real good changes to our team,” head coach Alain Vigneault said. “Sometimes you’ve got to change the dynamics. And the dynamics have been changed.”
With a new dynamic, the new look Flyers start their push to return to the playoffs tonight. A push that will have short & long-term goals that hopefully will end with the Flyers in the playoffs.
“No no, we’re a playoff team,” head coach Alain Vigneault said. “We’re going to get our first goal, which is to get into the playoffs, and the fight for that starts Friday.”
For the 3rd straight season, Carter Hart will be your opening night starter.
