The Flyers ended March giving up the most goals in the NHL. In their first two-games in April, the Flyers have only given up 2-goals in each game.
“We’ve tightened things up and haven’t let up as much,” forward Sean Couturier said. “These are the type of tight games we need to learn how to win.”
Tightening up the loose ends is something the Flyers worked hard on during their first practice in two weeks on Friday. After losing in a shutout on Saturday, the Flyers finished a tight game last night with a win in overtime.
The Flyers ended a 6-game losing streak to the Bruins last night. Tonight, look to make two in a row vs the Bruins & close the gap in the playoff race.
“We know what’s at stake going forward here,” forward Travis Konecny said. “It’s just a matter of playing the right way, playing hard for one another, everyone goes into each game, they know their assignments and their roles.”
