The Philadelphia Flyers lost their 7th straight game Sunday night at the Wells Fargo Center. Losing 5-3 to the Boston Bruins.
Felix Sandstrom allowed five goals. It was the 13th time this season that Sandstrom has given up three or more goals (0-10-3).
The Flyers have now lost seven games in a row (0-6-1).
On the season, the Flyers went 0-3-0 against the Bruins. Today’s loss was the Bruins 63rd win of the season. Breaking the NHL record for wins in a season.
David Pastrnak led the way for the Bruins. Scoring goals 58, 59, & 60 on the season for his 4th career hat-trick against the Flyers.
Owen Tippett continues to add to his breakout season for the Flyers. Scoring his 24th goal of the season in the 3rd period.
Much like the New York Rangers game last month, the Bruins fans made the trip to Philadelphia to witness history.
Never have heard this before… an opposing fan base chanting “We want the cup” in an opposing teams arena in regular season. An embarrassing look for the Flyers. #FueledByPhilly #NHLBruins pic.twitter.com/DlqAtSnjSr

Call Up Coming?
As the Flyers hit their final week of play for the 2022-2023 season, a new face will join them.
Head coach John Tortorella mentioned this week that another Phantoms defenseman would get a look during the last week of the season. A player that would be making his NHL debut.
Many speculate the player being Adam Ginning, a 2018 2nd round pick by the Flyers. But, I wonder if the player will be Wyatte Wylie.
Wylie, who is in his 3rd pro season, is an RFA at seasons end. Wonder if the Flyers want to see him in NHL games with his contract up this offseason.
Tony DeAngelo Benched For 3rd Straight Game
For the 3rd straight game, the Flyers have once again benched defenseman Tony DeAngelo. A move that head coach John Tortorella has been reluctant to talk about so far.
With just two games remaining, it would not be surprising if DeAngelo’s season is already over. Especially sitting with the Flyers using 13-forwards and 5-defenseman tonight.
Result : Flyers 3 – Bruins 5 , LOSS
Record : 29 – 38 – 13
Next Game : Tuesday 4/11 , Montreal Canadiens , Philadelphia PA , 7:00pm
