Owen Tippett scored his second goal in as many games for the Flyers. Tippett’s 14th goal of the season came after a lengthy shift by the Flyers top line in the Canadiens zone.
Tippett took the shift on the Flyers top line due to Joel Farabee double shifting on the 4th line the shift prior.
Morgan Frost continued his offensive outburst since being a healthy scratch. Frost scored his 7th goal of the season on the power-play in the 2nd period.
“I mean we can’t be satisfied you know,” Sean Couturier on the power-play success. “It’s we got to start all over next game and and keep keep it rolling.”
Frost’s goal on the power-play made it three straight games the Flyers have scored on the power-play.
