It was the tale of two games for the Flyers tonight against the Golden Knights.
The first half, looked like an easy win against a tired Golden Knights team in the midst of their four game in six games. The other half? Well, it looked like the Flyers of old.
Morgan Frost and Sean Couturier scored for the Flyers in the opening period. Both goals coming by the Flyers style of hockey – going to the net and in transition.
Frost’s 2nd goal of the season was a gritty one. Going to the net and tipping a Rasmus Ristolainen shot past Ilya Samsonov. Couturier’s 5th goal of the season was his second in as many games. Finishing a semi-break-away off an incredible stretch pass by Travis Konecny.
Emil Andrae delivered what looked like a knockout blow just 28 seconds into the 2nd period. Scoring his first career goal in the NHL.
However, the Golden Knights would fight back.
